As soon as I made this wishlist I realised I needed to get some more colour into my life. But no, forever a greb.
I’m hitting the good old age of 26 at the end of the month. I’m feeling A-OK about it. I’m ready to welcome the next chapter of my mid twenties. It’s probably because I’m be starting the day jetting off to Berlin for a mini break just after returning from Cumbria on a pal’s holiday.
I’m starting 26 in my favourite way possible: experiencing a new country with my favourite person. Another adventure to take and learning more about the world and myself. Then the next year is going be taken over by wedding planning, so they say, and I’m excited to start that. I guess the past few months ever since we booked the venue I’ve just been sat twiddling my thumbs thinking, ‘Um.. now what?’. But I’m ready to get started.
I love making wishlist posts. I love browsing the internet in my slippers and Harry Potter trackies seeing what I’d love. It’s very, very black and white and all very practicial. But here’s what I’m lusting after:
Firstly, I’ve been lusting after the Sony A5000 for around 3 months. I’ve either had to fork out an extra £100 to have it or just keep waiting for it to come back in stock for the cheaper price. With it never being a huge need I just kept waiting and waiting. It seems the perfect camera to practise my photography skills and vlogging skills with. It’s super lightweight and honestly, seems perfect. I’m definetely needing to get my hands on this before I head off to Berlin, because other exciting news, I’ll be taking over Ice Lolly’s Instagram for my trip! Make sure you are following it as my snaps will be up next weekend!
Another birthday, another handbag. The Geek bought me a gorgeous Radley handbag for my 25th birthday but it;s just not quite big enough. It’s big enough for the weekend but for work, it’s not the one. I love this Zara one as I could easily fit in my work laptop when needed, my make up if I need to go to any events after work and let’s be honest, black goes with everythanng.
I really, really want a bath tray. I’m pretty sure when I was little my Mum had one. This one is ace as it’s got room for a book, wine glass and candle. I love baths and I find them the perfect way to end the day. I love reading in the bath too but hate the whole having to hold it and get comfy business.
Hiya, I’m a basic 20 something cliche right now but someone please get the Oliver Bonas Wash Bag? I’m forever taking trips away to see friends or family and this is probably the most gorgeous wash bag I’ve ever seen. I love the teal detail, I love that it’s grey. I love that it has a B on it and it’s just perfection in a bag.
I love a good cardigan. I’m notorious for stealing The Geek’s jackets. I’m always wearing his hoodies or cardigans and my Mum is always rolling her eyes at me for it. I do it because boys hoodies are always better than girls. They cover your bum and you can just get real snuggly in them. But, this cardigan is actually from the womens section and it’d be great for the winter months. Perfect for quick drives, putting on for a cheeky pub night. It’s a little bit better than an all casual cardigan and I could probably even get it to last to spring. I need this little beauty in my life.
Every since my HYGGE post I’ve wanted to read more books. There’s nothing quite like sitting in bed reading a good book with your dog snuggled up to you. Since that post, I’ve read 3 books but I haven’t been made an Amazon order as of yet. One I’ve been dying to read is 5 Reasons to Stay Alive. I tried to pick it up in Stansted Airport before my holiday but WH Smith didn’t want to play. I’m also looking for more thriller/crime literature so if anyone has any recommendations, please hit a girl up!
Finally, is it really autumn without a new pair of boots? If I could live in one pair of shoes for the rest of my life it would be a pair of chunky heeled boots. I can walk in them, drive in them and overall, feel like a very sassy girl in them. My current ones are dying a slow death and need replacing ASAP. So, these are completely on the wishlist!
