I’m a fan of the Christmas jumper.
Basically, the tackier – the better. I love the horrible gaudy ones and I love that they are now a thing. Not just the thing your Nan gives you for Christmas. It’s a genuine thing and it’s perfect. The past 3 years my future sister in law even has a Christmas jumper party. That’s how much of a thing it is in our family.
What is even better is that your dog can wear them too. I’m not a person who really dresses Rufus up, except for the odd bandana or bow tie, but, he does have a Christmas jumper. To me, Christmas is all about family and I love getting him involved in it as much as we can. He also loves wearing his jumper, especially when he’s just been trimmed as it keeps his toasty. With them becoming more and more popular, I thought I’d showcase my favourite ones available this year.
Top L-R: Wildpaws Snowflake Hooded Jumper £8.99. Purple Bone Fairisle Knitted Jumper in Green £35 BooHoo Arianna Christmas Present Jumper £10.00
Bottom L-R: DryHound Reindeer Fleece Coat £11.49+ Pets at Home Snowman Jumper – £12.00 Duke loves Fergie I Sleigh Jumper – £13.00
There’s some absolute beauties out this year on the dog Christmas jumper front. My favourites that I’ve found are either the Purple Bone one, as Rufus looks amazing in green or the DryHound coat. You can spend whatever you like for your pooch, it doesn’t have to be expensive. Even bargain shops like B&M are selling them for a few quid each!
So, expect lots of Christmas jumper shots on Rufus’ Instagram over the next few days. We’re slowly getting more and more festive here!
