Firstly, sorry that this isn’t an April favourites post. I’ve had to take refuge at my Mum and Dad’s house due to The Geek having conjunctivitis. Perfect timing the day you’re gonna have your right eye lasered. Cheers life. So I couldn’t photograph all the bits that I’ve been loving this month and all my editing software is on my Macbook, so, er, soz you’ve got this post.
I’ve come to realise that I’ll depend on blogs for everything. I’ll depend on them for everything that I’m about to invest my well earned money into.
If I need a new mascara, I’ll search a good handful of reviews until I’ve found the product is worth me investing in. Need a cake recipe? I’ll check a blog. Things to do in a new city? You got it, I’m scouring into blogs. Heck, I’ll even make people recommendations based on other people’s blogs. Please tell me I’m not alone on this one.
But, there’s always some people’s blogs that I’ll always read. I’ll check them on my lunch break and will always read their latest posts:
1. Hannah Gale
Hannah’s blog is my go to blog for, well, everything. I love the energy she releases on her blog; it’s not showcasing every single positive. It’s real, it’s gritty and that’s what I love about it. She won’t just blog about her highs but also about her lows and when life is really crap. Everything she posts I genuinely find relatable and her avo on toast recipe is the one
Only recently discovered, I regularly watch Rhianna’s vlogs and read her blog. Again, I find her blog really real; she’ll do the high and lows and appreciate the good times. She’s my go to for make up buys as I find her make up is not going to break my bank account but will look ace. I also love how long her vlogs are; they the perfect amount of time to paint your nails too and allow them to dry without getting it all over your bed or smudging. Perfecto.
I discovered Corrie when she went on the I Trek Here tour with Trek America last year. I love how white and clean her style is and I have photograph envy all the time. I learnt more on how to edit my Instagram and blog photos from her blog. She’s like a little guru to me. I feel as if I’m in the same sort of life as her; trying to save for a house yet still trying to maintain some sort of life and struggling on trying to adult, which, means a lot to me at the moment.
Stephanies blog is the sort of dog Mum I want to be. I’m in love with her two spaniels: Severus and Lily (fabulous names). I love reading her dog friendly places to go and especially love this post of her trip away. She’s my go to for dog treats, dog reviews and all things pooch!
Who’s blogs do you love and always read?
