Put your hands up if your dog receives more post than you? An e-mail dropped in my inbox a few weeks ago asking if Rufus wanted to try out Cuffleberry & Co Gourmet Dog Food . Having a little look on their website, the flavours sounded fantastic. So, I sent them our details and we awaited our parcel.
A few days later we received the cutest Rufus sized hamper full of their dog food. We received 2 foil packets and 2 cans of their food. The flavours we received were a foil packet of beef, venison, tomatoes. Another foil pack of white fish, sweet potatoes, peas and parsley.
The two tins were pork, ham, apple and celery and chicken, quail, baby sweetcorn and mushrooms. There’s a varied range of their foods so there is something for every dog! On the Pets At Homes website, the foil packets were priced at £1.09 for 150g and the tins at £2.19 for 400g.
Cuffleberry & Co make their dog food in a rural kitchen in the UK. The flavours and ingredients are selected by nutritionists and chefs in order to get the best flavours. As well as creating delicious and tasty food, the ingredients are picked to help dogs thrive and give them the nutritional value they need. When I had a look through their website, I found an amazing guide of the health benefits for all the ingedients that they use. Health benefit ingredients are so essential to me as I want to give Rufus the best of the best. As every dog owner knows, a happy full pooch means one happy owner! One thing I really loved about Cuffleberry & Co was the packaging. The packaging were wonderful pasel colours with silohettes of dogs. There was something luxurious about it and made it stand out from most dog foods. For someone who doesn’t have a cupboard for dog foods and treats, it’s refreshing having beautiful packaging out. Another thing I really loved is that all the packaging is recycleable.Rufus usually only eats dry food so I decided to pick the flavour he’d enjoy the most and add it as a topper on his dinner. We decided the beef and venison foil tray would be the best way to go. First opening the foil packet, it smelt delicious and didn’t have that strong dog food smell that some other brands have. The meaty chunks were visible and Rufus was jumping up and couldn’t wait to try it. Once in his bowl, he demolished his dinner and was licking his bowl clean to get every last drop. It’s easy to say that he loved it!
Although we don’t use wet food for Rufus, we are using it as treats and to stuff his kong with. If you’re looking for a premium food with fresh ingredient that your dog would love, we’d 100% recommend Cuffleberry and Co!
