No – you’re panicking that there’s only 2 weeks left until Christmas.
Every year I tell myself that I’m going to be more organised and that I’m going to all the Christmas shopping done before the 1st December. I never ever do and this year is no exception, and it’s even harder with looming wedding invoices slowly building up and the most expensive time of year. I struggle with Christmas presents; it’s a mix of wanting to not just spend money for the sake of spending it and not knowing what to get. But, ther’es one thing I’m really good at buying for; dogs and their dog obsessed humans.
So, here’s what you will find in both mine and Rufus’ Christmas stockings this year
PEAMUTT BUTTER* – £2.79
A lovely little stocking filler for the pooch who loves peanut butter. We use peanutt butter a lot in our house, especially for brain based toys and keeping little hounds out of trouble. It’s essential that you get the right one that does not contain any artifical sugars and salts. Peamutt Butter is dog friendly and safe to use without having to worry about reading the label in the supermarket
FORTHGLADE CHRISTMAS DINNER & TREATS* – From £2.39
We’re all guilty of feeding our dogs Christmas dinner and giving them bits off the Christmas buffet: I know I am! Forthglade are a Devon based company where they have a turkey Christmas dinner for your dog with cranberries and parsnips and it’s grain free for those sensitive bellies! It’s a great way not to leave your dog out but ensuring that what you give them is good for them. They’ve also got some adorable festive treats in cranberry, parsnip and turkey flavour – perfect for a Christmas kong!
PITPAT – £49.00
If you’re getting a FitBit for Christmas – why not get your dog a PitPat? The handy device that sits on your dog collar and measures their exercise for the day. We’ve been using ours for over 6 months and it’s one of my favourite pieces of kit for Rufus. It ensures I don’t over exercise him, make sure he’s keeping fit and healthy and let’s be honest, I love a new gadget. We have a full review here!
Where are you meant to keep all these presents for your pooch? The Handmade Christmas Co sell beautiful hessian sacks that can be used year after year. Even if you don’t fancy getting one for your pooch – you can get one for any member of the family!
Duke Loves Fergie our my favourite luxury collar brand. Rufus’ last 2 collars have been from them and they are extremely good quality. We’ve never had a problem with them and are extremely durable in all weathers; which Rufus really puts to the test in snow, rain and sunshine. Rufus is currently wearing this gorgeous mustard yellow collar. You can shop the full range here
HAPPY JACKSON DOG FOOD TIN* – £19.99
I loooove the Happy Jackson range: everything is sweet, comical and this dog tin food is no exception. The text sums Rufus up to a tee, especially with his attitude regarding his dinner. It’s a great way to store away dog food ensuring it makes your home tidier and keeps your dog’s food feeling fresh. It fits our Guru Pet Food in it easily and it’s received many compliments over the past few months.
TRINKET TRAY* – £17.50
There’s 2 things I love in life: a trinket tray and a motivational message that gives you that boost every morning. It’s the perfect gift for any dog lover who’s also a magpie when it comes to jewellery. I keep mine on my bedside table and my engagement ring, charm bracelets and other jewellery fits in there perfectly.
Good luck with the rest of your shopping!
